Joan Parker’s workshops provide participants an opportunity to learn about and experience "plein air" painting in an incremental step process with classes beginning indoors and go into the field.
The workshops
include demonstrations by Joan and focus heavily on personal attention
while concentrating on improving the first few critical decisions about
compisition. Also addressed are the choices that define the difference
between light, form, and depth. Other discussions include the basics of
design, value, color, and drawing. Each workshop culminates in a critique.
All levels of experience are welcome.
